Lesson Guide - Let It Be
‘Let it Be’ Backing Track
Chordal / Melody
John’s notes;
This famous Paul McCartney ballad is another
example of how common the 1- 4 - 5 chord
progression is. In this example the key is C Major
so uses the chords C - F - G plus the minor 6th
Am.
I’ve created this in 3 versions, Lead, Rhythm and a
stand alone Chordal / Melody arrangement. You
can extend the tune by repeating twice.
As always, practice a phrase at a time and try to
get it sounding as good as you can before moving
on to the next phrase.
Don’t go for speed, that will come later when you
are confident with the notes, chords, and
techniques needed. Most of all - Enjoy!
